S.O.A.R. Cigar Box Guitar Workshop

On October 17, 2019, I had the opportunity to participate in one of the S.O.A.R. (Special Opportunities Available in Recreation) cigar box guitar workshops that l funded! The participants did an awesome job and left with beautiful instruments they crafted themselves (made with some upcycled materials)! FROM ONE TREE-HUGGER TO ALL THE REST, HAPPY EARTH DAY! 🌎🌳 ❤️

April 22, 2019: These tree-hugger tree of life pendants are made with strings played by Todd Snider. The sterling silver figure I add to these special pieces are a slow process of dipping the figure into hot water, so I can manipulate the arms and legs to hold tight around the tree. I was honored when Todd said he wanted a pendant, and the top piece with Chrysoberyl (also know as Cat’s Eye) gemstones is the piece I made and gave him last week. #upcycle#reuse #ArtOrLandfill #earthdayeveryday
