S.O.A.R. Cigar Box Guitar Workshop

On October 17, 2019, I had the opportunity to participate in one of the S.O.A.R. (Special Opportunities Available in Recreation) cigar box guitar workshops that l funded! The workshop took place over two evenings with an hour and a half scheduled for each session. The inspiring participants worked hard and showed pride while painting, cutting, and creating a unique treasure. Participants left with beautiful instruments they crafted themselves (made with some upcycled materials)! Megan was a lot of fun to work with during the workshop and allowed me to take a few pictures and videos of her process.
